The scent of star flower oil is strong, honey sweet and rich soapy. It reminiscent of dark green leaves with traces of hyacinth and violet orris. We have also been able to smell some varieties that were ‘spicy’ and others with ‘musky’ or ‘vanillic’

It is extracted by hydro-distillation process. Star Flowers  are used to extract this perfume oil.
