Origin and extraction process:

The sandalwood tree is a small evergreen tree that grows in India, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Here we are offering wildcrafted Indian Sandalwood Oil from Marathi, Which mostly called as “Marathi gold or  Sandalwood Oil“. The tree can grow up to 20 meters tall and has a reddish-brown bark. Sandalwood trees have been harvested for their wood and oil for centuries.

The wood of the sandalwood tree is very dense and fragrant. It is used in a variety of applications, including furniture, carvings, and incense. The Sandalwood oil is extracted from the wood of the tree through steam distillation. The wood is chopped into small pieces and placed in a still where it is heated with water vapor. This process creates a steam that travels through a condenser where it turns into liquid sandalwood oil. The oil contains a high concentration of compounds called sesquiterpenes, which are known for their ability to penetrate the blood-brain barrier.

Uses and Benefits:

Some of the most common uses for sandalwood oil include relieving anxiety, improving sleep quality, and reducing inflammation. The oil can also be used to help heal wounds, calm skin conditions such as eczema, and relieve nausea.
